About Us
Culture Corner Detroit is a Detroit-based 501(c)(3) organization creating spaces where Black culture, education, and connection come together.
Our Story
Culture Corner Detroit was founded on a simple belief: when a community has spaces to learn, create, and connect, it grows stronger together. We bring people together around the things that matter — financial literacy, entrepreneurship, art, and simply showing up for one another.
Every workshop, mixer, and gallery night we host is designed with one goal in mind: building a Detroit where Black culture is celebrated, economic opportunity is accessible, and community bonds run deep.
What We Value
Celebrating Black art, history, and creativity as a source of pride and identity.
Equipping our community with the financial and entrepreneurial knowledge to thrive.
Creating real, in-person spaces where relationships and community are built to last.
Helping our community build wealth, confidence, and opportunity from the ground up.
